Description: Symonds Yat is a beautiful area of natural beauty and a very popular destination for the great outdoors. There are plenty of pubs serving good food and real ale, enjoy gentle walks if your after a more relaxing break. For the more adventurous you will find canoeing, rock climbing, abseiling, caving, archery and so much more. The picture below is taken from the Yat Rock View point, from here you can also view peregrine falcons and admire the stunning views all around. Symonds yat is a great place for canoeists with gentle flowing river sections or for the more adventurous why not give the Symonds Yat rapids a go. You can hire a canoe by the hour or by the day and go camping down river. Crossing of the river at this section is easy as there is a rope ferry as can be viewed in the picture below.
