Description: The Garden at The Bannut This 3 acre garden of beauty and interest throughout the year is set in the magnificent Herefordshire countryside, and has been lovingly created by its owners, Daphne and Maurice Everett, since 1984. Manicured hedges and archways enclose garden rooms containing lawns, borders and island beds of shrubs and herbaceous plants,  a formal Gazebo Garden and a romantic Arbour Garden.  Near the house are the Cider Mill Garden, the Lion Garden and an unusual Knot Garden.  Grassy paths meander through a woodland area planted with camellias, rhododendrons, magnolias, pieris  etc,  to the Far Garden, with its collection of trees and shrubs, and thousands  of wild daffodils and cowslips in the spring, then on to the Long Walk bordered  with spring flowering heathers.  A path through the colourful Summer Heather Garden leads to the Laburnum Walk, and an intriguing Secret Garden completes the garden tour. The Garden is open from the beginning of April until the end of September, every Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and all Bank Holidays, from 12.30 to 5pm.
